POLITICAL CONTRIBUTION (PCR) PROGRAM

Help the Senate Republican Caucus maintain our majority with a “free” political contribution. How?

The Minnesota PCR Program in four easy steps:

STEP #1: Contribute to the Senate Victory Fund.

STEP #2: The Senate Victory Fund mails you a receipt and a refund form provided by the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

STEP #3: Complete the Minnesota Department of Revenue form and mail it, along with the receipt, to Minnesota Department of Revenue, Political Contribution Refund, St. Paul MN 55146-1800.

STEP #4: Get a one-time-per-year refund for your donation from the State of Minnesota (up to $75 per individual and $150 per married couple). Please allow up to six weeks to receive your refund.

NOTE

By completing your contribution, you certify that the following statements are true:

  • You are a citizen, or lawfully admitted permanent resident, of the United States.
  • This contribution is being made from your personal funds, not from funds provided to you by any other person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  • You are at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Please note:

Minnesota election law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 per calendar year.

There is no personal contribution limit. Minnesota law prohibits the solicitation of or acceptance of contributions from corporations at any time and lobbyists, political committees, political funds, dissolving principal campaign committees, or from party units during a legislative session. If you are acting as a corporate agent or are a lobbyist, political committee, or party unit, you are expressly not being invited or solicited, the provision of this information to you was not intentional, and you are requested to disregard it. Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Political Contribution Refund (PCR): Minnesota residents may be eligible to receive a reimbursement of $75 per person/$150 per married couple for contributions made in a calendar year through the Minnesota Political Contribution Refund program. Eligible contributors will be mailed a signed Form EP-3 and the PCR application. Please not the included paperwork must be signed and mailed to the Minnesota Department of Revenue in order to receive a reimbursement.
