Senator Warren Limmer was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 1995.

Senator Limmer worked as a corrections officer prior to being elected to the legislature. He received an associate degree from North Hennepin Community College and a bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University in criminal justice studies. He is also a former member of the Hennepin County Corrections Advisory Commission and of the Crystal Human Rights Commission.

Senator Limmer currently resides in Maple Grove and works as a real estate agent. He and his wife, Lori, have three children.
